Until Christmas! AHHHHH! Why did someone post this on Facebook so I could start freaking out? That is way to soon. Christmas eve Hudson will be officially 11 months old! My little man is getting way to big way to fast! I can not believe he will be one in just 128 days. But, this makes me feel a lot less of a freak for planning his birthday and starting to buy some Christmas gifts already. I should probably show this to tanner as well so he will get of my back about it. In birthday news, The theme has been set for a while. And the other day I officially decided on the colors, now the shopping can begin! And no I'm sorry, I'm not reveling the theme you just have to wait and see ;)
also, did you check out my last post? if not you should!

Home?
So me and Tanner are in the process to buy a home. It's the stupidest thing ever. Ok, not stupid. Just a giant roller coaster ride! We have been looking forward to this for a while, so getting approved was amazing! So far, we have bid on 2 homes. The first home was awesome, we fell in love with it. The size, location, number of rooms. However it was a HUD home, so in case you don't know what that means, basically the sellers will list it very low and you have a limited number of days to bid (usually 5-7) then the following day they announce who bid the highest and won. Well, we bid 20k over asking price. Don't think super crazy because most homes in that neighborhood average price is about 40K over this asking price. Well the next Monday we got a call, we were the highest bid. And it was the best day ever. For about 45 min. Then we get a call that the house appraised less then our offer. wtf. Which, we were so sure it wasn't going to cuz the inspection came back perfect. On a hud home though you only get one shot there is no counter offering. So even though we were the highest we couldn't be like..well it appraised at this, will you accept that. Grrr. So 45 min later it was the worst day ever. So a week or so later we find another house. This is is beyond amazing. It has space in the basement for my esthetics room, and tanners studio. plus super big bedrooms, a master bath, bigger space, covered patio. The only downsides were it was the tippy top of our price point, and the location and school district was not ideal. But the house and neighborhood were great, so we offered. We asked for 0 closing costs, to hopefully give us an edge since it was the top of our price range. A few days later we got the news, were the back-up offer. Someone had a slightly better offer then us. So if for some reason between now and the next 60 days, if they drop out of the contract we have a shot at the house. My fingers are crossed. Until then though we are looking at more and more homes. They are all either in awful neighborhoods I would never let my son grow up in, or too tiny, or need to much remodeling which we do not have the time/money/effort to do. This is like finding a needle in a haystack, and with it being a buyers market there are like 800 other people looking for the same needle. So needless to say life has been a little busy. Just wish us luck, because no matter what I would just love our own place for the holidays and Hudson's 1st birthday. That would be a dream.
