9 months!

This little man just turned 9 months old!!
I know, I say it every time but you are getting to big! This is a very bittersweet month for me. It marks new territory. Hudson, from this moment on your starting to spend more time out in the real world, then you did in my belly. Your not my new little baby anymore, your becoming my big little man!! I love you so much Huddy Buddy.

At 9 months you: 

I believe your weighing in around 18 lbs and 28 inches

You still have no teeth

You are in 9-12 month clothes. A few 6 month still fit, but for the most part its 9-12. Jammies are 12 month, everything else is just too small!

You are talking up a storm! you can say dada, baba, bye bye, and sometimes mama :) You also love "ooohing" at everything, especially planes. And you love to babble and make 'raspberries' noises.

We've been doing sign language with you, and you have done your first sign, milk!

You are walking everywhere!!! There is no stopping you. You always want down so you can walk, and sometimes you try to run.

You can wave bye bye, clap your hands (which is adorable because you clap them up and down on top of each other instead of the normal way, I need to get a video of this). You clap your hands every morning when you wake up! Your also learning to give high fives.

You are now officially on normal formula. No more soy.

You eat 3 meals a day of pureed baby food, and were starting on finger food. Its taken a couple months, you would gag every time I tried giving you anything, or just stick your tongue out. The doc said to wait a lil bit and try again, so that's what we did. You are starting to kind of get the hang of it :)

You still wake up at least once a night. I fail at the 'cry it out' method. But its ok, your still a baby and that's what babies do.

Your are just the happiest baby every! You are always smiling or laughing and its contagious! You give us the best slobbery kisses in the world. Me and daddy love you sooo much Hudson. You are our everything.

Eight Months

Huddy Buddy turned 8 months old today!!

Hudson, How is it possible you are already 8 months old? It seriously makes me wanna cry. But knowing that you have still spent more time in my belly then in the real world makes me feel a teeny bit better.
You are such a rebel! If you can't tell from the picture above, it took me and dad to get a picture of you in your 8 month tie today, and we got 2 pics that weren't a complete blur. All you wanted to do was turn and run away from the camera. I love that you have a mind of your own...well sometimes.

At eight months you:

you weigh 17 lbs 16 oz, and are just about 28 inch long (haven't gained much this last month, but doc said your so active he isn't worried, your just burning lots of calories)

You are in 6-9 month clothes mostly, but your so darn skinny I can still squeeze some 3-6 month ones on. & your in size 3 diapers.

You eat 2-3 times a day. Were trying to move to a solid 3 meals of baby food, but sometimes you just wont have it. You also drink similac soy about every 3-4 hours.

You can take 10-15 steps all by your self. Cruise along furniture and walk forever when holding someones hand.

A few weeks ago you climbed out of your crib!!! Well, your were about a half inch from falling out, but I grabbed you. We have already lowered your crib, so we are in the market for a crib tent to lock you in at night. The doctor recommended it, but also says he has never had to recommend one for someone so young!

You have started to wave bye bye. Not every time, but if your in the right mood you will and its so cute

You also are starting to give kisses, there open mouthed and slobbery, but they are amazing. Sometimes you will grab our faces and just kiss us, its my favorite.

Your insanely ticklish. I always say 'i'm gonna get ya' and go in to tickle you & you just laugh and giggle.

Bath time is still your favorite, you splash like nobodies business.

You love to tackle your cousin Ella. You just grab and kiss her, and don't let her get up. Your so strong.

six months

 "who has 2 thumbs and is 6 months old? This guy!"          

 Holy crap, my son is 1/2 a year old!! When did that happen?

Hudson, I can't believe how fast your growing it makes me soo sad & yet happy at the same time. These last 6 months have just flown by. I love being your momma with all of my heart! I can't get enough you.

At six months you:

-You are weighing in at 16 lbs 14 oz & 27 3/4 inches long! You never ever sit still, I contribute this to why your so darn skinny! 

 -You are still drinking similac soy formula, about 5-6 oz every 3 hours & eat homemade yummines twice a day [working on 3 times]

 -You are very very mobile. You have been crawling for a month, you pull up to standing on everything & you have started walking along the couches.

-You are in 6-9 [or 6-12 depending on store] size clothes, and some 3-6 still fit. And you are in size 3 diapers. [speaking of diapers...mom and dad just bought our very first pack of diapers this month! finally ran out of our supply from family and friends]

-Your got your very first hair cut on July 11th, 2011. Your little hawk was just too long.

-You absolutely love to blow bubbles and yell. It makes you laugh and you could seriously do either for hours on end.

-You love to be read to, and go for walks

-Your the most smiley giggly baby ever!

-You love to pull hair and pinch faces
