Avocado

Hudson has officially started solids! We decided on avocados, and he actually kind of like them! Of course most of the food didn't end up in his belly, but what did he seemed to enjoy! As you can see from the pictures, we tried putting the bib on, but all Hudson wanted to do was eat it, so it was naked baby time! 

 

It is so much fun enjoying all these firsts with Hudson! I can't wait to experiment with different foods & flavors and seeing what you are going to like. Hudson, you are such a joy and a blessing in our lives. We love you SO Much!!!

4 month check up

We had our 4 month checkup today

you got two shots.....BOOO! why can't they just make them all the little liquid thing you drink?? I wouldn't feel so bad if that were the case. We haven't gotten the DTaP shot, you had a not so great reaction to the shot last time [higher then normal fever, large red circle-like 1.5 inch circle-around injection site, very soar & fever lasted 5 days :( no fun] So your doctor is doing some research to see if you can still get the shot or not. So we shall see! We also got to go ahead to start solids! YAY im so excited, i think we are gonna go with either squash or avacado first.

four months

 Hudson I can't believe he is 4 months old! Where did the time go?? 

you are growing so fast, and your learning new things every single day. we love you so much, you make our lives so happy! 

At four months....

• We have a doctor appointment in a couple days, but Im guessing your between 14 and 15 lbs!
• Your starting to sit up better and better. If we hold your hand, or put our leg behind you so you feel supported you would sit up all day long! You can sit up for a good couple minutes all by yourself. you try to sit up EVERYWHERE! in your car seat, while your eating, in your swing. You just hate lying down.
• You have been 'scooting/army crawling' for a little while now, mostly backwards though, but your have started getting up on all fours and rocking, I think crawling is going to happen very soon!
• You drink 4-6 oz ever 3 or so hours. You still BF a little everyday, and your drinking soy formula. 
• You will be starting solid foods soon! and I have decided to make you homeade food. I have been doing my research and gotten some books, Still debating what will be your first, some kind of veggie that's for sure.
• Im pretty sure you are teething. You drool SOOO much, it drips off your fingers. You chew absolutely everything you can get your hands on. Since sunday night you have had a low fever (99.9 ish), a runny nose, and some swollen gums, everything seems to point to teething (or a little cold, but im hoping its teeth!)
• Your in 3-6 months clothes. Some of your 0-3 month still fits but they are getting snug. 
• your still a great sleeper! sleep about 7 hours straight! however, still not a good napper. usually just cat naps throughout the day! 
• You are such a giggly baby! I love hearing you laugh
• Still hate the Binky...i must admit i have tried a few time to get you to like it! I have the cutest monster Binky for our lil monster....but you refuse, your prefer your tasty tasty fingers!
• You love to go on walks, we try to go on one every day, but its been really rainy lately so we haven't gotten to as much. 

Hudson you just a perfect baby, and the best son a mommy could ask for!! I love you so much

Haylee Faith

My cute friends Tiffany & John had their second sweet baby girl on May 21, 2011 

Haylee Faith was born @ 8:54 AM 7lbs 6oz and 20inches 

Her and her big sister Keira Nickole are the sweetest little girls, I love them so much!

5 generations

Hudson is lucky to have 5 generations! It isn't something that happens very often! I had a great great grandma till I was 9, it was an interesting experience! This is Hudson, his mommy (me), his grandma Jamie (my mom), Great grandpa Hunt (my moms dad), & His great great grandma hunt (great grandpa hunts father). We are all the firsts in the family, a straight line and roughly 20 years inbetween each of us. I love them all so much! And everyone loves Mr. Hudosn!!

first mothers day

My very first mothers day was amazing! I had to work, but Tanner & Hudson came to visit me at work :D they surprised me with flowers. Then after work we had dinner with Tanners family & I opened my present from Hudson, I got his hand and foot print framed!! Exactly what I wanted. And it matched Hudson's baby book too! Then we headed to my moms, we got her a mothers & daughters book, and im taking her to get our nails done. Tanner also had arranged for Hudson to stay at my moms for the night, so I got a relaxing night in with the Hubby! 

Overall a very great day! I love being a mommy to my absolutely perfect Hudson!

Can't believe she is ten!

Happy 10th Birthday to my beautiful sister Jaida!!

I cant believe she is so big already! She turned 10 on May 6th 2011

She had to cutest birthday party ever, all her little girl friends cam over and we gave them glitter toes and made some awesome blue/brown and pink/brown flip flops with fabric tied all over them. 

I was hoping to get some pictures posted of her party but I haven't gotten them from my mom yet. 

Jaida is amazing, smart, such a good friend & role model, and the best aunt Hudson could ask for!
